Teesha was raised in Atlanta, Georgia by her parents, however, she hasn’t shared any information regarding their names and occupations, nor spoken about her siblings, but she posted a photo of her brother and sister with a hashtag #nationalsiblingday, and once stated that she’s the middle child.

Teesha made her first movie appearance playing a minor role as Girl 2 in “Dating Is F*UCked Up” in 2017, and then she was seen as Ebony Tyler in “Diva, Interrupted” before she portrayed Sharon in “My Next Sweet Day”, a 2018 romantic drama written and directed by Alton Claude,.

In the same year, Teesha was cast to play Brooklynn Josephs in the TV movie “Discovering Brooklynn”, also starring Destiny Thompson and Marquis Antonio, followed by her role in the short movie “L.U.S.T (Loved Used as Sex Tool)” before she portrayed Beth in “Yes, God, Yes”, a comedy drama written and directed by Karen Maine, which won the Santa Fe Independent Film Festival Audience Award Best Narrative Feature in 2019.
