Unlike many actors, Kurt hadn’t dreamed about becoming an actor; he had an interest in math and computers, and the only acting experience that he had was when he played a horse in a school play.

One Saturday night, Kurt was hanging out with his friends, and when walking back to their cars, he noticed an ad in a storefront. The Houde School of Acting was looking for new students, and since Kurt was looking for some hobby to have after work, he applied.

However, although he thought this would just be something fun to do after work, this decision changed his life, and a year after his first class, he signed with a talent agency and started auditioning. In 2014, he quit his job, and two years later moved to Atlanta, Georgia to pursue his acting career.
