American professional wrestler Kristen ‘Kris’ Statlander was born ‘Stadtlander’ in West Islip, New York State USA, on 7 August 1995, making her zodiac sign Leo. She’s a professional wrestler, and is today signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW), although she’s also wrestled on the independent circuit.
Education and early life
Kris was raised in West Islip by her mother and father, about whom she can rarely be heard talking in public, as she respects their privacy; it’s widely believed that her father’s a high school football coach, and her mother a former gymnast. Because Kris hasn’t mentioned having siblings, it’s believed that she has none.
She became physically active while still attending elementary school, as she enjoyed playing various sports with her peers, while excelling in tennis and volleyball. Kris studied at a local high school in West Islip, at which she also began running track, and practicing acting with the school’s drama club.
She matriculated in 2013 and then started working as a stunt double; around three years later, Kris began training wrestling at the Create A Pro Wrestling Academy under American professional wrestlers Curt Hawkins and Patrick ‘Pat’ Buck, and became the academy’s first female graduate in 2020.
Wrestling career
Kris launched her career as a wrestler in November 2016, but didn’t gain any attention until she appeared in a 2019 episode of the TV program “SmackDown Live” for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE); she was teamed up with Karissa Rivera, and the two girls lost against Peyton Royce and Billie Kay in the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. Also in 2019, Kris lost against Joey Janela in an intergender match.
She wrestled for the first time with AEW on 19 November 2019, when she and Big Swole lost against Britt Baker and Riho; it was revealed a month later that Kris had signed a contract with AEW, and she then defeated Britt Baker on 18 December, becoming the main contender for the AEW Women’s World Championship. She faced Riho on 8 January 2020, who was the AEW Women’s World Champion at that time, but Kris lost after Mel, Awesome Kong and Brandi Rhodes interfered in the match; she faced the new champion Nyla Rose on 29 February 2020, but was defeated once again.
She wrestled alongside Trent? on 31 March 2021, when they helped Orange Cassidy and Chuck Taylor defeat Kip Sabian and Miro; in September of the same year, Kris faced Britt Baker again for the title of AEW Women’s World Champion, but lost. In November, Kris became a member of the New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s stable Chaos.
Most recently, in August 2022, she suffered a serious anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury and announced that she’d need an indefinite amount of time to recuperate.

Although Kris prefers not to share the details of her love life with the public, she’s still allowed her fans to have a glimpse into it.
She’s uploaded many pictures onto her Instagram account, which feature her spending time with her long-term boyfriend Mason Burnett; he’s an American professional wrestler known as ‘Kaleb with a K’, while he’s also recognized as Suicide and Caleb Konley. He’s performed for both Impact Wrestling and National Wrestling Alliance, but revealed on 14 April 2022 that he was leaving Impact.
Neither Kris not Mason have revealed the exact date of when they began dating, but it’s believed that it was sometime in 2016; some of their fans have also claimed that they’ve become engaged and are planning to marry in 2022, but this hasn’t been addressed by Mason or Kris.
She hasn’t mentioned other men whom she’s been with; Kris is in a long-term relationship with Mason Burnett as of November 2022, hasn’t married and doesn’t have children.

Kris works out at the gym on a daily basis, mostly because of her career, but also because she enjoys being physically active.

Kris loves tattoos, and has many inked onto both arms, as well as a small one on her right leg.
She’s a huge lover of animals, with iguanas being her favorites; her pet iguana’s been featured in some of her Instagram pictures.
Kris’ favorite actors are Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham, and some of her favorite movies include “Black Adam”, “Jungle Cruise” and “Gridiron Gang”.
