Charlotte Hope was born on 14 October 1991, in Salisbury, Wiltshire UK. Her mother worked in PR when she was younger, but later stayed at home to look after her children, while her father was a jockey, but he switched his career and became a barrister. The actress was raised in Lower Daggon, Hampshire with her younger sister Emily Norris, who is now the trumpeter in the British country/folk band Police Dog Hogan.

Hope studied at a local boarding school, during which she attended a drama class that aroused her interest in acting. She enrolled at the University of Oxford, majoring in French and Spanish, but already knew that she wanted to become an actress, which is why she hired an agent while she was at the university, and started participating in theatre and commercial gigs. She assists Ramsay in his sadistic endeavors. Charlotte had a recurring role in the series, and appeared in eight episodes from 2013 to 2016.

In 2018, Charlotte was cast for the supporting role of Sister Victoria in the supernatural horror movie “The Nun”, portraying a surviving nun who sacrifices herself to stop evil from possessing her body.

In 2019, Hope landed the leading role as Catherine of Aragon, the Spanish princess who arrives in England to marry the King, in the miniseries “The Spanish Princess” which was developed by Emma Frost and Mathew Graham for the global media and entertainment company Starz. In her interview with Glamour Magazine, Charlotte mentioned that she resonated with Catherine’s character, because they were both lost and neither of them was perfect.

In 2020, after appearing in three episodes of “Bancroft”, Hope landed another important role as Margaret Alma Kinnaird in the British historical sports drama series “The English Game”. As of late 2022, she is working on multiple projects, three of which are post-production; she’s playing the role of Mel in the horror movie “The Piper”, portraying Catherine Samsa in the horror drama “Bury Me When I’m Dead” directed by Seabold Krebs, and Charlotte also appears in “The Chelsea Cowboy” and “Hiker”. Her most recent acting project is the film “Meet Me By The Sea”, which is directed by The Madley Brothers.

From 2015 to 2016, she played the role of Hermia in the play “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” at Liverpool Everyman, and Shelly in “Buried Child” at Trafalgar Studios. In 2017, she portrayed Zara in “Albion”, and played the role of Mom in “Good for Otto” in 2018.

Charlotte Hope has been dating the actor Ruairi O’Connor since 2020. They also appeared together at the 28th Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards in the February of 2022, sharing a kiss after arrival.
