Who is Matt Letscher?

In the following years, Matt made appearances in “Eli Stone” (2008-2009), “Entourage” (2009), and “Brothers & Sisters” (2009-2010), and then he was seen in the 2012 TV mini-series “Bent”, before he was cast to play Billy Chambers in “Scandal” (2012-2013).

Matt made his big-screen debut in the 1993 movie “Gettysburg”, followed by his roles in “Not This Part of the World” (1994) and “Lovelife” (1997), before his breakthrough role as Captain Harrison Love in “The Mask of Zorro” (1998), also starring Antonio Banderas, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Anthony Hopkins, which was nominated for two Oscars for Best Sounds, and Best Effects, Sound Effects Editing.

In the following years, Matt starred in “I’ll Wave Back” (2000) and “Madison” (2001), and then appeared in several TV movies, before he was cast to play Adelbert Ames in “Gods and Generals” in 2003, followed by his roles in “Identity” (2003), “Straight-Jacket”(2004), and “Heart of the Beholder” (2005).

Two years later, Matt portrayed Gil Hines in “Towelhead”, and was next seen starring in numerous TV movies, including “Amish Grace”, which brought him the MovieGuide Grace Award for Most Inspiring Television Acting in 2011.

Some of Matt’s notable movie appearances have been in “Devil’s Knot” and “Her” both in 2013, “Teacher of the Year” (2014), and “Day Out of Days” in 2015, while his most recent role was in the 2019 horror “Countdown”.
