Who is Jessy Schram?
Jessica ‘Jessy’ Schram was born in Skokie, Illinois USA, on 15 January 1986 – her zodiac sign is Capricorn, and she holds American nationality. She’s an actress and film producer, with over 60 acting credits to her name, probably still known best for her portrayal of Darcy in the 2010 action thriller movie “Unstoppable”, directed by Tony Scott, and which starred Denzel Washington, Chris Pine and Rosario Dawson. It follows a half-mile long freight train rushing towards a city, while an engineer and a conductor are trying to stop it; the movie won one of the 16 awards for which it was nominated, including an Oscar nomination for Best Achievement in Sound Editing.

Jessy was raised in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, alongside her siblings Jonathan and Nicole Schram, by their father John and mother Kristie; not a lot is known about Jessy’s family, because she respects their privacy, while it’s said that her father was a theatre actor, and her mother a choreographer.
Jessy became interested in acting at a very early age, and was five years old when she appeared in her first commercial, and 12 when she debuted in a theatre play. Jessy made her debut TV series appearance in the 2004 episode “Number One Fan” of the family comedy “Drake & Josh”, and gained recognition in 2006, when cast to play Hannah Griffith in the popular mystery crime drama “Veronica Mars”. It was created by Rob Thomas, starred Kristen Bell, Jason Dohring and Enrico Colantoni, and follows Veronica Mars whose best friend’s been murdered, while she’s now begun solving police mysteries; the series aired from 2004 to 2019, and won six of the 26 awards for which it was nominated.
The following years saw Jessy appear in an episode or two of various series, such as the crime comedy drama “Boston Legal”, the mystery drama “House” and the fantasy drama “Ghost Whisperer”.
Between 2007 and 2009, she portrayed Rachel Seybolt in the hit mystery crime drama “Life”, created by Rand Ravich, and which starred Damian Lewis, Sarah Shahi and Adam Arkin. It follows a former police officer who was wrongfully imprisoned for years, and has now returned to work; the series won two of the five awards for which it was nominated.

Jessy’s also known for her portrayal of the supporting character Karen Nadler in the action adventure drama “Falling Skies”, created by Robert Rodat, and which starred Noah Wyle, Drew Wory and Maxim Knight. The series ran from 2011 to 2015, and follows a group of human survivors who’ve teamed up to try and fight back the aliens that have taken over Earth; it won three of the 38 awards for which it was nominated, including two Primetime Emmy nominations.
Three of Jessy’s most recent TV series roles have been in the 2019 episode “Expire Erect” of the fantasy crime drama “Lucifer”, a 2021 episode of the comedy “Liza on Demand” and 17 episodes of the drama “Chicago Med” since 2020.

Jessy made her debut film appearance in the 2005 mystery “Jane Doe: Vanishing Act”, while a couple of her following roles were in “Jane Doe: Now You See It, Now You Don’t”, “Jane Doe: Till Death Do Us Part”, and “Jane Doe: The Wrong Face”, all released in 2005.
She gained recognition in 2006, when cast to play Tracy in the comedy “American Pie Presents: The Naked Mile”, directed by Joe Nussbaum, and which starred John White, Eugene Levy and Maria Ricossa. It follows Erik Stifler who’s been allowed by his girlfriend to do whatever he wants, while he and his two friends are now spending the weekend at their cousin Dwight’s house; the movie was nominated for a Cinema Audio Society Award for Outstanding Achievement in Sound Mixing for DVD Original Programming.
A couple of Jessy’s notable performances in the remainder of the decade were in 2008 – the family mystery crime “Jane Doe: Eye of the Beholder”, and the romantic drama “Keith”, and the 2009 drama “Limelight”.
In 2015, she portrayed the lead character Libby Prescott in the romantic family drama “Reluctant Nanny”, directed by Bradford May, and which also starred Aaron Hill and Tamara Taylor. It follows Libby who’s begun babysitting police officer Dan’s two children.

Jessy produced the 2015 short comedy movie “Pillow Talk”.
She’s sung songs in three movies: “Fairy Tale Love” in the 2005 “Jane Doe: Til Death Do Us Part”, “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” in the 2018 “Road to Christmas”, and “Life in a Love” in the 2020 “Country at Heart”.

Jessy and Sterling are also passionate about travelling together, and their Instagram accounts are filled with pictures taken in various US states and European countries.
Although Jessy hasn’t spoken of any other men whom she’s perhaps been with, it’s believed that she dated Albanian actor Victor Gojcaj in 2010, after having met him on the set of the movie “Unstoppable”, but this hasn’t been confirmed.
As of August 2022, Jessy’s in a relationship with Sterling Pierce Taylor, hasn’t married and doesn’t have children.
