Ojani Lazaro Noa was born on 11 June 1974 in Havana, Cuba. There are not many details about his family, except that his father’s name is Francisco Noa, and there’s no information if he has siblings or not. He left his childhood in oppressed Cuba at 15 with his family, in an inflatable boat. They reached the shores of Florida, and settled in Miami, where he went to school. After 30 years in the US, Noa received his citizenship.

Popularity Through Marriage

However, their marriage didn’t last long, as the two separated in January 1998. Ojani was her partner long enough to receive a small part of her glory, and thus becomes a star on his own.
The divorce was finalized in March 1998, which left Noa somewhat downhearted.
Lawsuits and Controversy
Despite the divorce, Noa continued to work in a restaurant owned by his ex-wife. In 2004 he sued J.Lo for employment conflicts, which was settled in 2005, but the details of the settlement never became public. According to him, he was fired without reason despite J. Lo’s assurances that he wouldn’t be a victim of their strayed romance.
Noa went public in 2006, claiming that he would publish a tell-all book about his ex-wife. He asked for a $5 million payout from J. Lo, but a lawsuit made by the Latin diva had him pay $545,000 to his ex-wife.
