Who is Brooke Langton?
Born under the sign of Sagittarius on 27 November 1970, in Arizona USA, Brooke Langton is a 51-year-old Caucasian actress and model of Swedish descent. She is probably best known across the planet for her various appearances in well-established TV series and film titles, most prominently in the likes of “The Replacements”, “Friday Night Lights”, “The Last Ship” and “Swingers.” She’s had an enviable number of successes throughout her often lucrative acting career since 1992, however, a lot of her popularity also comes from the fact that she dated all-time wealthiest golfer Tiger Woods.
Early life: Born from success
Brooke was delivered in an on-site hospital inside a copper mine in an Arizona town, where her surgical nurse mother (née Cummings) was working alongside her geologist father Jackson Langton at the time. Just like his father, chief prospector for H.L. Hunt, Brooke’s dad was very accomplished in the same line of work, serving as chief geologist for Phelps Dodge, and later vice president of Superior Oil in Indianapolis. He wrote and published a memoir entitled “A Prospector’s Protégé – All Trappers Do Not Wear Fur Hats.” Brooke’s maternal grandfather, Stephen Cummings served in WWII as a bomber pilot, and whose wife was a Swedish farmer who immigrated to Minnesota. She has an aunt called Sally Spalding, who is a script supervisor. Lastly, she’s related to the highly acclaimed 19th century Swedish actor Adolf Jahr.
Langton was raised apparently an only child in two states, due to her parents’ work, having attended Herscher High School in Illinois and Lawrence Dale Bell High School in Texas, matriculating from the latter in 1988. She then moved to California to enroll at San Diego State University, from where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Marine Biology in 1992.
Career: Started from the catwalk
After finishing college, Brooke briefly moved to Japan for a modeling stint, subsequently relocating to Los Angeles for better opportunities. She eventually found The Second City – a comedy club, comedy theater and school of improvisation, where she practiced the craft under prestigious acting coaches Larry Moss and Ivanna Chubbock. Her first onscreen appearance took place in 1992, as Nikki in an episode of “Freshman Dorm”, alongside three other roles. She had no significant parts in 1993, but made her film debut in 1994 as Kim McGill in “Moment of Truth: Cult Rescue.”
In 1995, she landed the role of Sarah Brown in seven episodes of “Extreme” – her longest continued appearance up to that point, as well as five other roles. The year after, she had the part of Nikki in “Swingers”, for which she is remembered to this day, and even more so for playing Samantha Reilly in 68 episodes of “Melrose Place”, from 1996 to 1998. She then moved right onto the character of Angela Bennett in 22 episodes of “The Net”, through 1999.
Same talent, new millennium
The year 2000 brought her two important film roles: Sabrina in “Playing Mona Lisa”, and more importantly, Annabelle Farrell in “The Replacements”, which is Brooke’s most prominent role to date.
2001 went by quietly for Brooke, with just the role of Elizabeth Gillcrest in the pilot and one other episode of “Fling.” After seven more roles over the next five years, Brooke returned to the limelight in 2007, snagging the part of Jackie Miller in nine episodes of “Friday Night Lights”, and Constance Griffiths in 11 episodes of “Life”, in both of which she stayed for a year. She had only one role over the next three years, but entering 2012 with two more, one of which was Pella Goodwin in an episode of “The Mentalist.”
In 2013, she played two recurring roles (and one other) in super-famous titles: Christine Brennan in “Bones” and Hayley in “Supernatural.” Four years and eight roles down the road, Langton realized another multi-episode role – Lt. Maddie Rawlings in five episodes of the 2018 sci-fi action drama entitled “The Last Ship.” Her latest onscreen presence is from 2019, when she played Valerie in an episode of “The Passage”, making for 54 acting credits in total.

Although there are rumors that she’s retired from Hollywood, and took on a housewife’s obligations, the actress is actually busy filming after an hiatus of about three years, and is set to appear as Joan in an uncategorized film entitled “Noble Savages.” As of mid-2022, it’s still rated as ‘under development’, making its genre, plot and release date unknown. She’s also busy working on “Within Infinity” – a short film she wrote, and thus her first venture into filmmaking.

Brooke’s first known boyfriend was fellow actor David Chokachi, whom she broke up from after a brief relationship in 1999, apparently to date legendary actor George Clooney. They broke up at some point, and later down the road Brooke got into a relationship with golfer Tiger Woods. They dated for an unspecified amount of time and apparently split up amicably. On 1 June 2008 it got out that the actress has a son named Zane, after their picture from the Second Annual Kidstock Music and Art Festival in Beverly Hills surfaced in public. She’s never specified the name of the child’s father, though looking at his skin tone, it’s not very likely that the mystery man is Tiger Woods. She apparently resides happily with her son, supposedly in California.
