Annabelle was born in London, England, on 25 October 1986 – her zodiac sign is Scorpio, and she holds British nationality. She’s an actress, film screewriter and director, with more than 20 acting credits to her name, probably known best for her portrayal of Cecile, the main character in the 2017 short comedy movie “Cecile on the Phone”. Annabelle also wrote and directed this story about a woman who’s recently broken up with her boyfriend, and is now having a series of ‘phone conversations, but avoiding that one serious conversation which she needs to have. The movie was nominated for a Short Film Grand Jury Prize at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival.

There are rumors circulating the internet claiming that Annabelle’s retired from acting, however, this has been proven false, as she’s currently shooting for the upcoming thriller movie “Helen’s Dead”.

Early life and education

Annabelle was raised in London alongside her older maternal half-siblings Charlotte, Mark and Samantha Ronson, by their mother Ann Dexter-Jones, a British jewelry designer, and her father Michael Leslie ‘Mick’ Jones, a famous British musician, who’s perhaps known best for being the guitarist of the famous British-American rock ‘n’ roll band Foreigner.

Annabelle grew up being interested in various activities, while she was perhaps mostly into fashion design, looking up to her half-sister Charlotte.

She began practicing acting with her elementary school’s drama club when she was eight years old, and went on to appear in various plays performed at the school.

Annabelle became physically active when she enrolled at local high school in 2001, and it was in 2003 that she made her debut film appearance, playing Matti in the short romantic comedy “Wholey Moses”.

She matriculated in 2005, and although Annabelle hasn’t spoken of her further education, it’s believed that she attended college, from which she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in 2009.

Roles in movies

Annabelle played Lauren – Mango Girl in theromantic comedy “Missed Connections”, while a couple of her following roles were in the fantasy drama “Holy Motors” and the short drama “The Gallerina”, all in 2012, then the 2013 short drama “And After All”.

She gained recognition in 2014, when cast to play Lilly in the romantic drama “Asthma”, written and directed by Jake Hoffman, and which starred Benedict Samuel, Krysten Ritter and Nick Nolte. The movie follows a rock ‘n’ roll musician who’s fallen in love with a tattoo artist.

The year 2015 saw Annabelle appear in three movies: the short romantic drama “At Home with Mystic”, the mystery horror comedy “Ava’s Possessions” and the crime drama “#horror”.

Her most recent role has been her portrayal of Lily in the 2019 drama “Josie & Jack”, written and directed by Sarah Lancaster, and which starred Olivia DeJonge, Alex Neustaedter and William Fichtner. It follows siblings Josie and Jack as they’re being raised in a Pennsylvania mansion by their professor father.

Roles in TV series

Annabelle made her debut TV series appearance in the sports comedy drama “Red Oaks”, created by Joe Gangemi and Gregory Jacobs, and which starred Craig Roberts, Ennis Esmer and Oliver Cooper. It follows a college student during his final summer prior to graduation, the series aired from 2014 to 2017, and was nominated for two awards.

Annabelle’s appeared in only two other TV series: in four episodes of the 2018 drama “The Deuce”, and seven episodes of the critically acclaimed drama “Succession”. The latter was created by Jesse Armstrong, today stars Nicholas Braun, Brian Cox and Kieran Culkin, and follows the wealthy Roy family who are controlling the world’s largest media and entertainment company; the series has been airing since 2018, and has won 87 awards, including nine Primetime Emmys, while it’s been nominated for 120 other awards.

Annabelle has won two awards: a 2013 Gen Art Film Festival Stargazer Award for Best Actress, for her performance in the short drama “And After All”, and a 2019 Film Quest Festival Award for Best Actress, for her performance in the horror thriller “Ravage”.

Love life and husband

Annabelle’s quite secretive when it comes to sharing the details of her love life with her fans, but it’s still widely known that she’s today in a long-term relationship with non-celebrity American man Dan Colen.

Dan and Annabelle began dating sometime in September 2016, and they’ve since uploaded various pictures onto their Instagram accounts, which feature them spending time together. There are some of Annabelle’s fans who believe that the popular actress and Dan have already exchanged vows, but have chosen to keep this hidden from the media’s attention, however, neither has commented on these rumors.

She’s into travelling, and has been to a couple of European countries, such as France, Italy and Croatia; Anabelle’s also been to various American states – her favorite US city is Los Angeles, California.

She’s a huge lover of animals, with dogs being her favorites; Annabelle’s pet German Spitz dog can be seen featured in some of her Instagram pictures.

She enjoys watching movies in her spare time – her favorite actor and actress are Bruce Willis and Natalie Portman, while a couple of her favorite films include “Leon: The Professional”, “The Fifth Element”, and “V for Vendetta”.

Annabelle’s age is 35. She has long brown hair which she usually dyes blonde, her eyes are brown, her height is 5ft 8ins (1.7m), and she weighs around 130lbs (60kgs).
