Amanda’s hard work and dedication saw her cover major stories in Orange County. Various TV stations spotted her, and after three months as a freelance writer for the outlet, she eventually moved to South Bend, Indiana to join ABC 57 as a multi-media journalist.
A year later, Amanda returned to California to work as a reporter, news anchor, and weather forecaster at KSBY-TV in San Louis Obispo.
She served in the position until May 2016, covering many stories, including Californian wildfires, and the historic drought effects on the state, and stories that deal with local crime.

After her contract with KSBY ended, Amanda left California for Indiana once again. This time, she joined WRTV as Morning News Anchor, headquartered in Indianapolis.
