Of German and Irish ancestry, she is the daughter of Edward Sullivan, a New York assemblyman, and his wife Madonna Sullivan. Nicole has a sister, Jennifer Sullivan, but there are no further details about her.
Nicole became interested in entertaining early on, and at just seven years old, she started taking dance classes. She reached Broadway at an early stage of her life, performing in the First All-Children’s theatre.
