Who is Julianna Rose Mauriello?
Julianna was born in Irvington, New York State USA, on 26 May 1991 – her zodiac sign is Gemini, and she holds American nationality. She’s an actress and singer, with six acting credits to her name (without theatre plays), while she’s perhaps still known best for her debut TV series appearance portrayal of Stephanie in the popular family adventure comedy series “LazyTown”. It was created by Magnus Scheving, who also starred in it alongside Lorraine Parsloe and Stefan Karl Stefansson, and follows pink-haired girl Stephanie who’s moved to LazyTown with her mayor father, while she’s now trying to teach the city’s residents that physical activity is good. Julianna was raised in Irvington alongside her brother and sister by their parents, about whom not a lot is known as Julianna respects their privacy; it’s believed that her mother was a professional dancer, and her father a theatre actor. Her sister Alex Mauriello’s today a successful actress, with more than 20 acting credits to her name, probably known best for her portrayal of J-Moni in the 2012 action adventure comedy movie “Jersey Shore Shark Attack”.
Julianna grew up being interested in acting and singing, mostly because she watched her siblings perform in several plays at Pleasantville High School’s musical theatre; she was six when she appeared in her first play, “Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Carousel”, and still six when she made her debut film appearance, playing Erika in the 1997 short movie “Sesame Street: Fiesta!”. She then appeared in a number of school plays, and spent a summer at French Woods Performing Arts Festival. At 10, she signed a contract with theatrical agent Nancy Carson, who helped her become cast in the evergreen play “Oklahoma!”
The family eventually moved to New York City, so that the children could work on their way up in the film industry – Julianna studied at Professional Performing Arts School, from which she matriculated in 2009; she hasn’t attended college.

Roles in movies
Julianna’s appeared in only two more movies. She played Trixie Bottom in the 1999 horror thriller “Bonne Nuit”, directed by Pascal Laugier, and which starred Lucie Arnaz, Olivia Bonamy and Annalyn Miriam Cyrus. It follows Frenchman Dennis who’s been diagnosed with an incurable illness, and who’s now struggling to maintain his relationships with those dear to him.
Julianna portrayed the lead character Pyper in the 2008 short drama “A Fix”, written and directed by Darren J. Butler, and which also starred Skye McCole Bartusiak and Bridget Lappert. It tells the story of Pyper Blevins, an American girl who’s been bullied by her peer Natalie Coleman since she was five.
Roles in TV series
Julianna reprised her role as Stephanie in the 2008 family drama “LazyTown Extra”; she starred alongside Lorraine Parsloe and Magnus Scheving, and the series follows Ziggy who’s travelled to the UK to motivate people to be physically active and eat healthy foods.
She has only one other TV series credit: Julianna voiced a supporting character in the 2013 episode “Run Down Rotors” of the animated mini-series “The Doc Files”, created by Chris Nee, and which starred Loretta Devine, Kiara Muhammad and Lara Jill Miller. It follows small dinosaur The Doc as it’s analyzing specific cases at a local clinic.
