Who is Aracely Arámbula?
A television personality, entrepreneur, model, and actress with over 25 credits to her name, Aracely Arámbula Jacques rose to prominence after participating in beauty pageants, and wining ‘El rostro de El Heraldo de Mexico’, a Mexican national daily newspaper pageant in 1996, which led to her acting career.
She is perhaps known best for her roles in telenovelas such as “Alma Rebelde”, “Wild Heart”, and “Embrace Me Tightly”, among others, while she is also famous for her cosmetic and perfume company, and is a co-owner of a spa in Mexico City.

Early life and education
Aracely Arámbula was born under the zodiac sign of Pisces on 6 March 1975, in Chihuahua City, Mexico, where she was raised by her parents, but about whom little is known, alongside her brother Leonardo Arámbula, who served as Aracely’s manager for a long time, and is today a doctor and her business partner.
From an early age, Aracely dreamed of becoming famous – her role model was Jennifer Lopez, so it isn’t surprising that she wanted careers in the television and music industry. When she was 13 Aracely began participating in beauty pageants, and was chosen the ‘Face of the Year’ in 1993.
Speaking of her educational background, she attended a local high school, and upon matriculating in 1993, she enrolled at Centro de Educacion Artistica of Televisa, a major media conglomerate in Mexico, from which she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Acting in 1996.
Acting career
Aracely made her acting debut in an episode of the series “Prisionera de Amor” in 1994, followed by her role as Aide’s friend in “Acapulco, Cuerpo y Alma” in 1995, and then in the following year, starred as Leticia Cisneros in “Canaveral de Pasiones”, which was her breakthrough role.
In the late ‘90s, Aracely was seen in “Pueblo Chico, Infierno Grande”, (1997), “Rencor Apasionado” (1998), and “DKDA: Suenos de Juvented” in 1999, and the same year she was cast in one of her most notable roles, as Maria Elena Hernadez in the telenovela “Alma Rebelde”.
From 2000 until 2001, Aracely portrayed Maria del Carmen Campusano in “Embrace Me Tightly”, a romantic drama also starring famous Mexican actors, Fernando Colunga and Victoria Ruffo, followed by her role as Perla Gutierrez Vazquez in “Las Vias del Amor” in 2002 until 2003.
Aracely’s next role came in 2009 when she was cast to play Regina Montes de Oca in “Wild Heart”, and then in 2013, she was seen as Gabriela Suarez in “The Return”, followed by her role as Lucia ‘Lucha’ Duran in “Los Miserables” from 2014 ‘til 2015.
Aracely had a recurring role as Altagracia Sandoval in the telenovela “La Dona” from 2016 until 2020, and concurrently, in 2017 Aracely guest-starred in “Carlos Gardel the King of Tango”, and then, in the following year, she was seen in “El Senor de Los Cielos”.
She’s now involved in two new series, “La Madastra” and “La Rebelion”, which are currently in post-production, and it’s rumored that besides these telenovelas, Aracely will be seen starring in movies entitled “The Councilor Member” and “Amor de mi Vida”. According to her Instagram account, which is followed by over six million people, she currently performs in theatre, in the play “Por Que Los Hombres Aman a las Cabronas”.
Music career
Aracely began her music career singing nursery rhymes, and in 2003, she released her debut single “Solo Tuya”, and subsequently her debut album “Sexy”, which was nominated at the Billboard Latin Music Awards in the categories of Best Album, Best Duo and Best Regional Mexican Song.
Aracely is a singer-songwriter and she also plays guitar; she wrote and sang two songs for the telenovela “La Patrona”, including the theme song, and in 2014, she announced her upcoming studio album, however, to date, her album hasn’t been released. Her most recently released single was “Malas Noticias” in 2020.
Love life and relationships
There have been various rumors concerning Aracely’s love life, and being one of the most beautiful Mexican actresses, it isn’t surprising that various men from the entertainment industry were romantically linked to her.
It is known that in the late ‘90s she dated actors David Zepeda, Pablo Montero and Gabriel Soto, but those relationships lasted for only a few months, while from 1998 until 2000, Aracely was in a relationship with Mexican model and actor Eduardo Verastegui.
In 2000, Aracely started dating Fernando Colunga, and the two were together for a year, while in 2005, Aracely publicized her relationship with the famous Mexican singer, Luis Miquel, and the two had such a romantic relationship which was seen in the series about Luis Miquel’s life, filmed in 2018; the two confirmed that real-life was as in the series, and in one his interviews, Luis said: ‘It’s such a beautiful story. It was a love story so beautiful that they couldn’t believe it, it would have been a story, just like the Titanic, that is, so beautiful, it has nothing to do with it, but I mean how beautiful it is…’
On 1 January 2007, the two welcomed their first son, Miguel Galego, and their second son Daniel Galego was born on 18 December 2008, neither of whom want to appear publicly, and Aracely respects their wish – when she posts a photo featuring her sons, their faces are blurred.
Although this ‘dream love story’ seemed so strong and everyone expected their wedding, in 2009, Aracely and Luis announced their separation, and their sons continued living with Aracely.
In one of her interviews, Aracely said that the children have almost no relationship with Luis and their paternal family, adding that he occasionally avoids his monetary obligations to his sons.
In 2011, Aracely started dating Arturo Carmona, also an actor, known for his roles in telenovelas, and the two were together until 2012 when Aracely began dating Sebastian Rulli, a Mexican-Argentine actor, until 2013.
In the following years, Aracely kept her love life a secret, although some rumors were saying that she was seen buying an engagement ring with her boyfriend, unknown to the public, which later was confirmed as false.
As of June 2022, Aracely seems to be single, she hasn’t been married or engaged, and has two sons.

This 47-year-old actress is known for often changing her hair color and styles, but her natural hair is dark brown and she has piercing blue eyes; she weighs around 125lbs (58kgs) and is 5ft 7ins (1.7m) tall, with vital statistics of 35-24-36.
