Davina Potratz was born on 29 December 1977 under the Capricorn zodiac sign, in Los Angeles, California, USA. However, she lived in Germany until 1995 and went to the International School of Hamburg from 1983 to 1995.
After high school matriculation, she enrolled at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, USA.
Before she became a real estate agent, Davina was a model, having launched her modeling career in 1999 by signing with the Ford Modeling Agency. Davina catwalked in Milan, London and New York in the first few years of her career, among other fashion centers.
As her career developed, she entered the waters of Hollywood, and appeared in a few films, including “Monster-In-Law” and “Raising Helen” among others.

She actively pursued modeling until 2011, when her contract with Ford ceased, after which she began looking for a spot in real estate.
A Successful Real Estate Agent
Davina launched her career as a real estate agent at the Mark Company in 2011, but remained in the position for six months only. However, this was enough for her to get a job at Lowe Enterprises as a real estate sales executive, where Davina stayed for less than two year, working at the Terranea Resort.
She was making rapid progress in real estate, and her next company was Etco Homes, with headquarters in Beverly Hills, California, USA.
Rise to Prominence
Davina earned a name for herself in real estate by working for Etco Homes – from May 2013 to October 2014, Davina was a listing agent at 432 Oakhurst, and then moved to 460 N Palm Drive.
In 2015, she became a contractor and opened her own business, the Davina Group, Inc., with headquarters in Los Angeles, California, USA.
However, in 2018 she achieved international fame when she joined the Oppenheim Group. The real estate agency fares rather well in the national market, which earned them a spot in the Netflix-produced reality show “Selling Sunsets”.
The success of the show turned Davina into an international star. She’s taken on some of the most luxurious mansions in such neighborhoods as Beverly Hills, however, the $75 million priced villa with 18,000 square feet of space, nine bedrooms and 12 bathrooms hasn’t been sold yet, which negatively affected her career.
She bounced back though, and continued with the marvelous results shown in the popular show “Selling Sunsets”. Davina featured in the first season of the show in 2019, after which she left the entire Oppenheim group for a new business opportunity, but has since returned and has continued selling luxurious housing projects.
Season Five Drama
Although Davina left the show and the Oppenheim group, she remained close with the “Selling Sunset” co-stars, Christine Quinn, Heather Rae Young, Maya Vander, Amanza Smith, Chrishell Stause, and Mary Fitzgerald.
There is more to the season five story: Christine turned into an enemy, and Davina chose the other side. According to reports, Christine bribed one of the clients not to work with Christine’s co-star Emma Hernan. This caused drama in the show, and everyone else turned against Christine. Moreover, Davina had her say on the break-up between Chrishell Stause and Jason Oppenheim, saying that she doesn’t believe the two will get back together following their separation in December 2021.
The fifth season introduced the new star realtor, Chelsea Lazkani, a British-Nigerian realtor who joined the Oppenheim Group in 2021. Chelsea’s excellent relationship with Christine Quinn sparked a few dramatic moments, since most cast members were against Christine, including Davina.
Davina and Chelsea have already had their on-screen clash, which is expected to continue in the reunion show, scheduled to premiere in May 2022. Davina has stated that she believes that Quinn influenced the young newcomer to act negatively towards Potratz.
