He was born under the zodiac sign of Gemini on 4 June 1975, in Staten Island, New York City USA, and so holds American nationality. His ethnicity is mixed of North African, Syrian, Spanish and Italian descent, and in his interview for GQ magazine he said about his heritage: ‘I grew up in a very strange situation.

His mother is Mary Jane Tomasino, and according to her Linkedin profile, she is the owner of the clothing company Christie Helen. The two welcomed their first son, Kane Alexander Rossi on 8 June 2015, and their second son, Arlo Benjamin Rossi, was born on 3 August 2017.
