Early life, family, and education
Eve Chilton was born under the zodiac sign of Virgo, on 1 September 1955, in Boston, Massachusetts USA, into a wealthy and well-educated family. She was raised by her parents, both attorneys; her maternal grandfather is Edmund Randolph, who served as the Secretary of State, and was also the co-founder of the first global law firm, called Hunton and Williams.
As a young girl, Eve dreamed of an acting career, and upon matriculating from high school in 1973, she didn’t go to college but moved to New York City to fulfill her dream and become an actress. Unfortunately, it seems that lack of talent or perhaps bad luck was the reason for her failure. However, she met Harvey Weinstein, who hired her as his assistant.

Her name came into the spotlight again when it was revealed that she filed for divorce after more than 15 years of marriage.

Eve met Harvey sometime in 1986, and after she began working as his assistant, it seems that their professional relationship grew into something more. Eventually they began dating, and married in the following year.
Their first daughter Lily was born in 1995, and three years later, Eve gave birth to their second daughter, named Emma; the youngest one, Ruth, was born in 2002.
Although Eve hasn’t spoken about her marriage and life with Harvey, rumors circulated that she was aware of his sexual harassment of other women, mostly young actresses. Allegedly, he would repeatedly ask those women to have sex with him before casting them in films produced by his studio.
After she divorced Harvey, Eve married again – her second husband was American businessman Sal Martirano, however, this marriage also ended in divorce.

Harvey Weinstein was arrested and charged with rape in May 2018, and in February 2020, he was sentenced to 23 years in prison.
Personal life
In terms of his personal life, he was born on 19 March 1952, in Queens, New York City, the first son of Max and Miriam, both Jewish and descended from Polish immigrants. He was raised alongside his younger brother Bob.
Speaking of Harvey’s educational background, he attended John Bowne High School, and upon matriculating in 1970, enrolled at the State University of New York at Buffalo, from which he graduated with a BA degree in 1974.
Harvey and Bob independently produced rock concerts through most of the early ‘70s, and using the profit of their business then founded Miramax, the film distribution company named after their parents, Miriam-Mira and Max.
In 1993, Disney offered the brothers $80 million for ownership of the company, which they accepted, but one of the conditions was that both Harvey and Bob stay at the head of Miramax.
In 2005, they left the company and founded The Weinstein Company, which included directors Quentin Tarantino, Robert Rodriquez and Colin Vaines. When Harvey was fired from the company in 2017, and the list of sexual abuse charges was made public, The Weinstein Company filed for bankruptcy after months of attempting to sell the company.
After Eve and Harvey divorced, he began dating Georgina Chapman, an English actress, and fashion designer. The two married in 2007, and they have a daughter and son together, whose names and birthdates haven’t been revealed.
In October 2017, after the sexual harassment accusations against Harvey, Georgina left him, and after reaching a settlement in 2018, their divorce was finalized in 2021.

After being sentenced in 2018, Harvey Weinstein was extradited to Los Angeles, California, and faced additional charges in a subsequent trial in 2021. In October 2022, he was charged with 11 counts of rape, sexual battery, and forcible oral copulation, which allegedly occurred between 2004 and 2013. The case is still in process.
