Lymari Nadal is a Puerto Rican actress, scriptwriter and producer, who has appeared in the TV mini-series “Battlestar Galactica” (2003), and the film “American Gangster” (2007), among several other projects.
However, she is probably best known to the world as the wife of the Academy Award-nominated actor Edward James Olmos.

Lymari Nadal Torres was born on 11 February 1978 under the Aquarius zodiac sign, in Ponce, Puerto Rico. The daughter of Daniel Nadal and Anaida Torres, Lymari went to Academia Santa Maria for her high school education, then graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico, before then obtaining a Master’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus (UPRM), at just 22 years old.
However, a passion for acting had always been there, and she moved to London to study acting at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. She continued her career by starring in Lance McDaniel’s action thriller-drama film “Light from the Darkroom”, alongside Patricia De Leon and Steven Michael Quezada, and then co-starred in the thriller-drama film “The Blackout”, with Abraham Benrubi, Joseph D. Reitman and Costas Mandylor as the main stars.
Her latest on-screen appearance was in the action-adventure film “Kreep”, written and directed by Brett Bentman and starring Lymari next to Charles Baker and Judd Nelson.

Edward James Olmos was born on 24 February 1947 in East Los Angeles, California, USA. He is the son of Pedro Olmos and his wife, Eleanor of Mexican ancestry; his parents divorced when he was just seven years old, and he was raised primarily by his great-grandparents.
After matriculating from Montebello High School, he attended classes at East Los Angeles College, during which time Edward was the lead singer of the band Pacific Ocean – their only record, Purgatory, failed to make an impact on the music scene.
Edward’s acting career started in the mid- ’70s, with a string of minor roles in such TV series as “Cannon”, “Bronk”, “Kojak”, and others. Since then, he has made more than 100 film and TV appearances, with numerous prominent roles – some of his best-known include Detective Gaff in the sci-fi action film Blade Runner” (1982) and in the sequel “Blade Runner 2049 (2017), then as Lieutenant Martin Castillo in the TV series “Miami Vice” (1984-1989), and as Jaime Escalante in the film “Stand and Deliver” (1988), for which he earned his first and only Academy Award-nomination, as Abraham Quintanilla in the biopic about the singer “Selena” (1997).
