Rosa Blasi was born on 19 December 1972, in Chicago, Illinois, USA, to Rocco and Joyce Blasi. Of Irish, Italian, and Puerto Rican ancestry, she is one of five children, and has two sisters, Marina and Tasha, and two brothers, Michael and Rocky.
