Melanie made her small screen debut in 2009, with the role of Fiona Castley in the film “The Selection,” which is based on the teen novel written by Kiera Cass. The movie follows the story of a young career woman who is selected in a lottery to participate in a competition with other women for a chance to marry a prince; she is one of these women.
