Who is Louis Partridge?
Louis was born in London, England on 3 June 2003 – his zodiac sign is Gemini, and he holds British nationality. He’s an actor with close to 20 credits to his name, perhaps known best for his portrayal of Tewkesbury in the 2020 action crime adventure movie “Enola Holmes”, directed by Harry Bradbeer, and which starred Millie Bobby Brown, Henry Cavill and Sam Claflin. It follows Sherlock Holmes’ younger sister Enola, who’s discovered that her mother’s gone missing and is now searching for her; the movie won three of the 14 awards for which it was nominated.
Early life and education
Louis was raised in London alongside his two sisters Issie and Millie, the former older and the latter younger, by their British father James Partridge who’s a lawyer, and their mother Liz who’s a housewife.
Louis became interested in acting at a very early age, and this is widely believed to be because he watched movies and TV series with his family nearly every day. He was eight when he joined his elementary school’s drama club and began appearing in school plays, and 11 when he made his debut TV series appearance, playing Alf in a 2014 episode of the comedy “Boomers”.
Louis then continued acting throughout his entire education; he studied at a local high school, and upon matriculating in 2021. chose not to pursue a college degree, but to work on his way up in the film industry.
Roles in movies
Louis made his debut film appearance in the 2014 short fantasy movie “Beneath Water”, and the same year saw him star as Young Gav in the short family comedy “About a Dog”.
In 2015, he was cast to play Miner in the popular action adventure comedy “Pan”, directed by Joe Wright, and which starred Levi Miller, Hugh Jackman and Garrett Hedlund. It follows 12-year-old orphan Peter, who’s been teleported into the magical world of Neverland, and the movie was nominated for eight awards.
Louis portrayed Nature Boy in the 2016 short fantasy drama “Second Skin”, and then played Young Henry Bates in the 2017 drama “Amazon Adventure”, directed by Mike Slee, and which starred Calum Finlay, Bege Muniz and Ed Birch.
The movie tells the true story of explorer Henry Bates, who spent 11 years exploring the Amazon rainforest in the 1850s; it won a Giant Screen Cinema Association Award for Best Cinematography.
Louis is also known for his portrayal of G-Man in the hit 2017 family adventure comedy “Paddington 2”, written and directed by Paul King, and which starred Ben Whishaw, Hugh Grant and Hugh Bonneville. It follows the living teddy bear Paddington, who’s been working various jobs to buy his aunt Lucy a birthday present, which has now been stolen; the movie won 14 of the 67 awards for which it was nominated.
Two of Louis’ most recent film roles have been in the 2020 action crime adventure “Enola Holmes”, and the 2022 fantasy drama “The Lost Girls”; he’s currently shooting for the upcoming action crime adventure “Enola Holmes 2”, and the romantic fantasy drama “Ferryman”.

In 2019, Louis played Piero de Medici in the popular biographical historical drama “Medici”, created by Nicholas Meyer and Frank Spotnitz, and which starred Daniel Sharman, Alessandra Mastronadi and Synnove Karlsen. It follows Cosimo de Medici who’s begun running his family’s banking business now that his father Giovanni has passed away; the series aired from 2016 to 2019, and won three of the four awards for which it was nominated.
Louis has had only one other TV series role: he played Sid Vicious in the popular 2022 biographical musical mini-series “Pistol”, created by Craig Pearce, and which starred Toby Wallace, Anson Boon and Sydney Chandler. It follows the life of Steve Jones, the guitarist of the Sex Pistols.
He’s currently shooting for the upcoming thriller drama “Disclaimer”.
