One of the main protagonists of the crime-drama series “Big Sky” is Cassie Dewell, a private investigator who teams up with an ex-policeman to investigate the kidnapping of three women. Early life, family, and education
Born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, on 30 January 1989, Kylie Bunbury spent her first years living with her family in England, and they then moved to Portugal, finally settling in Prior Lake, Minnesota USA, which Kylie considers her hometown.
The reason for moving was her father’s career – Alex Bunbury is a former professional soccer player, and from his side, Kylie has Guyanese-Canadian heritage. Her mother, Kristi Novak, is someone who likes to live out of the spotlight, so nothing is known about her, except that she is an American who comes from a family of Swedish and Polish descent.
Kylie has three brothers, Logan, Mataeo who plays soccer for Birmingham Legion FC, and Teal, who also plays soccer, for the New England Revolution team.
Kylie was not one of those girls who dream of a Hollywood career, however, she was into fashion and modeling, which subsequently lead to her acting.

Kylie made her acting debut in 2010, portraying Kathleen Bushman in an episode of the world-famous sitcom “Days of Our Lives”.
Next, she was cast to play Lacey Porter in the mystery drama series “Twisted”, and then made an appearance in 19 episodes during 2013 and ‘14. It was the story of a troubled teenage girl who became the main suspect in the murder of a student who was found dead in her house. The series was nominated for the Teen Choice Award for TV Show: Drama.
In the following year, Kylie was seen as Suhad in the TV mini-series “Tut”, followed by her role as Eva Sinclair in “Under the Dome”.
Kylie next portrayed Ginny Baker in the 2016 series “Pitch”, starring opposite Mark Consuelos and Mark-Paul Gosselaar, in this sports drama about the first woman who played in the Major Leagues, which won the Critics Choice Television Award for Most Exciting New Series.
Two years later, she made an appearance in an episode of the series “Law & Order: Special Victim Unit”, then followed with her role as Angie Richardson in the TV mini-series “When They See Us” in 2019. This biographic crime-drama followed a story of five teens from Harlem who were wrongfully accused of a brutal assault, and garnered 78 award nominations, winning 30 including two Primetime Emmys.
For her performance in the series, Kylie was nominated for the Black Reel Awards for Television for Outstanding Supporting Actress, TV Movie/Limited Series, and she shares Online Film & Television Association for Best Ensemble in a Motion Picture or Limited Series with the rest of the crew.
In 2020, Kylie was cast to play Cassie Dewell in “Big Sky”, also starring Dedee Pfeiffer and Katheryn Winnick, and her fans can enjoy watching her in the third season that is currently airing on Hulu.

Kylie’s big-screen debut was her portrayal of Jordan Lundley in the 2011 comedy “Prom”, followed in the same year with her role as Roxanne in “The Sitter”.
Three years later, Kylie was seen as Lauren in the short comedy-drama “No Kid-ing”, also starring Alexis Codding and Sean Bayat. Her next movie role came in 2018, when she was cast to play Michelle in “Game Night”, an action comedy about a group of friends whose game night becomes more than just a game after the brother of one of them is kidnapped by gangsters. The stars of the movie were Jason Bateman and Rachel McAdams, and the movie had 21 award nominations, winning four.
In the same year, Kylie starred in the title role in the TV movie “Get Christie Love”, followed by her role as Allison in the 2020 comedy “Eat Wheaties!”.

Sometime in 2017, Kylie met Jon Ryan Alan Riggins, but kept their subsequent relationship secret, until on 8 April 2018 announcing that the two had become engaged. Jon Ryan is an entrepreneur and co-founder of the company Liquid Death.
The couple tied the knot on 1 January 2020, in Portugal, and in June of the following year, Kylie shared that she is pregnant. Their son, Rumi Walker Riggins, was born on 6 December, and Kylie shared a photo of a sleepy baby boy on her Instagram.
As of late 2022, if we can judge by her Instagram posts and captions, Kylie and Jon Ryan appear to be enjoying raising their son together in their home in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
