The world-renowned American TV personality and sportscaster Kay Adams, served as NFL Network’s Good Morning Football (GMF) host for six years from 2016 until her contract expired in May 2022.

Kay Adam hails from Chicago, Illinois, and was born under the Aries zodiac sign on 6 April 1986, which makes her 36 years old as of 2022. Kay developed an interest in sportscasting in college when she was working as a bartender at a nearby sports club. She was later hired as an in-game baseball host by the St. Louis Cardinals, which marked the official beginning of her career. She later landed a job at Sirius XM Holdings Inc., where she hosted the shows “Livin’ the Fantasy” and “Fantasy Drive.” She made her first TV appearance in October 2012 in the CBS chat show, “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson,” which was her career breakthrough, as she shortly afterwards began hosting the “NFL Sunday Fantasy Zone” on DirectTV, and later offered her sports service to the gambling firm FanDuel. She was taken on by NBC Sports Network in 2006, and during her time there, she made guest appearances in several network shows, such as “The Crossover with Michelle Beadle”, and “NBC Sports Talk.”

Adams gained massive fame after joining NFL Network to host the morning TV show “Good Morning Football”, working together with Kyle Brandt, Peter Schrager and Nate Burleson; the show lasted for three to four hours, and aired on weekdays from 7 a.m. She last appeared in the show on 13 May 2022 – her co-hosts sent her gratitude and well wishing messages, and her farewell message was ‘I don’t know the answers to where I’m going, or what I’m doing, or when you’ll see me next, but I really just have deep gratitude, so thank you, guys.’ Kay was replaced by Jamie Erdahl, while her co-host, Nate Burleson was replaced by Jason McCourty.

Earlier, Kay hosted special events for the American Football team, the Chicago Bears, and in 2018, she was taken on as a broadcast team member of DAZN boxing, working together with LZ Granderson, Chris Mannix and Sugar Ray Leonard. In 2020, she co-hosted People Magazine’s TV series “People (the Show!)”, and worked together with Lawrence K. Jackson. 2021 also saw her hosting “Good Morning America, Weekend Edition.”

Previously, Kay had expressed interest in hosting the Thursday Night Football pre-game TV show on Amazon Prime Video but the job went to Charissa Thompson.

In 2015, there were rumors that she was dating the prominent National Football League player, Danny Amendola, after they were seen attending the Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly (ESPY) Awards together. Adams was fond of posting her then alleged boyfriend on Instagram. however, their relationship was reported to last only for a year. Danny went on to date the American model, singer, and songwriter, Jean Watts, and was also previously seeing the model, social media personality, and fashion influencer, Olivia Culpo.
