Josephine was raised in Applecross, Western Australia alongside her older sister Katherine by their father Stephen Langford, who’s working at the Royal Flying Doctor Service Western Operations as director of medical services, and their mother Elizabeth Green who’s a pediatrician. Josephine also wrote the song “Lonely” in 2007, and “Sea Shanty” in 2008.
She completed her elementary school education in 2010, and enrolled at Perth Film School, from which she matriculated in 2016; Josephine then chose to pursue a career as an actress, rather than a college degree.
