Keven and Jessica broke up, and he began dating a new girlfriend. Sadly, they both died in a car accident back in 2003.

Speaking of his father, they have not been in contact since Joe was seven years old; he once spoke about his father, Joseph, saying that he was a police officer and that all that he remembers about him are flashes of domestic violence, but adding that he doesn’t hate him.
Joe and his mother moved to San Francisco, California, and then, to Gainesville, Florida before they settled in Newton Upper Falls, Massachusetts, where Joe attended Newton South High School.
