Jeremy Allen White was born under the zodiac sign of Aquarius on 18 February 1991, in Brooklyn, New York City USA; he holds American nationality although he comes from a family of Ukrainian, German, Dutch, English, Scottish and Irish descent.

Jeremy made his acting debut portraying Jack Phelps in the series “Conviction” in 2006, and in the following years guest-starred in two episodes of the series “Law & Order” in 2007 and ‘08, and then two years later, he was seen in an episode of the series “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit”, before he was cast to play Lip Gallagher in “Shameless”, also starring Ethan Cutkosky, Emmy Rossum and William H. Macy.

The series had 69 award nominations, and won 16, including four Primetime Emmys, while Jeremy was nominated for the Critics Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series, and the Online Film & Television Association (OFTA) Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series, both in 2014.
