Education and early life

Jase was raised in Bernice alongside his brothers Jeptha, Willie and Alan, by their mother Marsha ‘Kay’ Robertson who’s a housewife, and their father Phil who’s a professional hunter and businessman; Jase also has an older paternal half-sister.

Phil was his town’s ‘Duck Commander’, and Jase looked up to him while growing up, wanting to become a professional duck hunter as well. The two spent a lot of time together, with Phil teaching Jase everything he knew about duck hunting; it was at the age of eight that Jase was certain about becoming a duck hunter, and so spent nearly the entirety of his spare time in the woods.

He matriculated in 1987, and then chose not to pursue a college degree.

Jase’s career

Jase’s father Phil is the owner of his own hunting and fishing company Duck Commander, and he eventually made his son Willie the company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), while Jase became its Chief Operations Officer (coo); Jase is in charge of making duck calls, tuning them and inventing new ones. He’s revealed that he can make a duck call in less than three minutes, while the most popular duck call which he’s invented is ‘Triple Threat’, which utilizes three instead of two reeds.

Jase’s also revealed that he believed the show “Duck Dynasty” would never become popular, and would be cancelled after only a single season.

Appearances in TV shows

Jase’s debut TV series appearance was in 19 episodes of the reality sports “Duck Commander” between 2009 and 2011, starring in it alongside his father and brothers, showing them hunting ducks.

He was then invited to appear in an episode of the talk-shows “Fox and Friends”, “Larry King Now”, and “The View”, and the year 2013 saw him appear in the talk-shows “Katie”, “Live with Kelly and Ryan” and “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon”. Jase was featured in the 2013 TV special “87th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade”, and the following year saw him appear in the episode “Models without Makeup” of the documentary series “Inside Edition”, and the episode “Duck Dynasty” of the documentary series “E! True Hollywood Story”.

Jase starred in his and his family’s 2015 documentary movie “Duck Commander: Making the Musical”, and then appeared in an episode of the shows “The Doctors”, “Celebrity Page” and “The Outdoor Experience”.

Since 2019, he and his father have been hosting the podcast talk-show “Unashamed with Phil & Jase Robertson”, in which they’re discussing their Christian faith.

In 2022, Jase appeared in his family’s documentary series “Duck Family Treasure”, and the talk-shows “Dish Nation” and “Lawrence Jones Cross Country”.

Double checking because I can't believe our show is now on Fox Business every Thursday night at 8/7cst.
