Who is Dyllan Christopher?

Dyllan Christopher Fernandez was born in Los Angeles, California USA, on 12 December 1991 – his zodiac is Sagittarius, and he holds American nationality. He’s an actor, with more than 30 credits to his name, while he’s perhaps still known best for his portrayal of Tommy in the evergreen 1998 action science fiction movie “Armageddon”. It was directed by Michael Bay, starred Bruce Willis, Ben Affleck and Billy Bob Thornton, and follows a team of astronauts who have been sent into space by NASA, to stop a huge asteroid from hitting Earth; the movie won 15 of the 59 awards for which it was nominated, including four Oscar nominations.

Early life and education

Dyllan was raised in Los Angeles by his parents, about whom nothing’s known as he respects their privacy; it’s believed that his father was a talent agent, and that his mother was a dancer. Because Dyllan hasn’t mentioned having any siblings, most of his fans believe him to be an only child.

He was somewhat thrown into the film industry, as he was only two years old when he was cast in a Lemon Clorox commercial, while he then appeared in six episodes of the comedy series “Murphy Brown” in 1994; it was created by Diane English, starred Candice Bergen and Grant Shaud, and follows the life of a female TV journalist. The series was a hit, airing between 1988 and 2018, and won 67 awards, including 18 Primetime Emmys, while it was nominated for 121 other awards.

Dyllan continued to act during his upbringing, and throughout his entire education. He studied at Flintridge Prep Academy, from which he matriculated in 2012; Dyllan hasn’t spoken about his further education, but it’s widely believed that he attended college, from which he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in 2016.

Dyllan made his debut film appearance in the 1997 crime thriller drama “Mad City”, while a couple of his following roles were in the drama “A Memory in My Heart”, the comedy “Love Stinks” and the romantic family comedy “Dudley Do-Right”, all released in 1999.

In 2002, he appeared in the hit animated adventure comedy “Stuart Little 2”, directed by Rob Minkoff, and which involved Michael J. Fox, Geena Davis and Hugh Laurie.

It follows the talking mouse Stuart who’s trying to rescue his friend, and the movie won one of the six awards for which it was nominated. The following year saw Dyllan appear in the critically acclaimed historical sports drama “Seabiscuit”, which was nominated for seven Oscars, and two of his other notable performances in the 2000s were in the 2006 family adventure comedy “Unaccompanied Minors” and the 2007 comedy drama “Stories USA”.

Dyllan spent the following six years focused on appearing solely in TV series, and had no movie roles; he then disappeared from the film industry, but without officially retiring.

Roles in TV series

In 1999, Dyllan starred as Ralph Emerick ‘Ralphie’ Anderson in the fantasy horror mini-series “Storm of the Century”, and was then invited to appear in an episode of numerous series, including the mystery thriller drama “Chicago Hope”, the romantic family drama “Once and Again” and the comedy “Becker”.

He was cast to play Walter in the 2003 romantic mini-series “Out of Order”; it starred Eric Stoltz, Felicity Huffman and Kim Dickens, and follows a man who’s dissatisfied with his marriage, and is thinking about having an affair. The mini-series won one of the four awards for which it was nominated.

In 2005, Dyllan guest starred in the episode “4×4” of the mystery crime drama “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation”, and some of his other notable performances in the 2000s were in the fantasy crime drama “Medium”, the crime drama “Las Vegas” and the crime comedy drama “Bones”.

His final TV series appearance before disappearing from our TV screens, was in the 2013 episode “The Quarterback” of the musical comedy drama “Glee”.

Other credits

Dyllan made a guest appearance in a 1997 episode of the talk-show “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno”.

He was featured in the 2006 documentary film “Christmas Celebration at the Grove”.
