Connell made her film debut in the 1998 short comedy movie “The Soldier’s Leap”, and her next role came 12 years later, when she was cast as Olga in the 2010 comedy “Above Their Station.” In 2012, she starred alongside Maria Olsen, Paulie Rojas Redding and Laura Waddell in the Justin Calen-Chenn-written and directed fiction, “Folklore.” The film is about the interviews of several mythical creatures including an angel, a water nymph, and a vampire. In the same year, she was cast in the drama “A Perfect Ending”, before she appeared in two more films in 2013: the short action film “Sapphire Strange”, and the drama “Meth Head.”

She is reportedly dating the American actor, Robert Patrick ‘Rob’ Benedict, who is famous for his role in the series “Supernatural.” The duo met on the sets of the series, and fell in love shortly afterward – they began sharing their photos on their respective social media accounts in 2019. Rob, who is also a lead vocalist for the Los Angeles-based rock band Louden Swain, is nine years older than her, and was previously married for over 24 years to Mollie Benedict; he’s the father of Audrey and Calvin Benedict.
