In October 2022, one of the most popular TikTok reaction memes was Fletcher Quimby’s interview meme video, and if you were a fan of the show “A. N. T. Farm”, you will recognize him as the character from this family comedy that aired from 2011 through 2014. The actor who played Fletcher, an artistic genius with a cheeky sense of humor, is Jake Short.
He has over 25 acting credits to his name, but the aforementioned role is his most notable to date. Jake’s performance in the show earned him the Kid’s Choice Award for Favorite TV Actor in 2012, and he was nominated for the same award two years later.
Early life, family, and education
Born Jacob Patrick Short under the zodiac sign of Gemini on 30 May 1997, Jake Short hails from Indianapolis, Indiana USA, and holds American nationality. When it comes to his ethnicity, Jake comes from a family of Irish, English, Scottish and German descent.
Jake was raised alongside his brother Austin James, by their parents James Kramer and Kimberly Kennan Hankins Short, whose occupations Jake hasn’t revealed since he respects their privacy. When Jake was nine years old, the family moved to Los Angeles, California, so he could pursue his acting career, even at that age.

Concurrently, Jake made guest appearances in “$#*! My Dad Says” (2011), “Motorcity” (2012), and “Disney 365” (2013).
From 2013 through 2015, Jake portrayed Oliver in the series “Mighty Med”, in 44 episodes of this science-fiction family comedy, also starring Paris Berelc and Bradley Steven Perry. In 2016, he reprised his role as Oliver in the spin-off “Lab Rats: Elite Force”.
