Daniella Alonso is a famed American actress and former fashion model, who rose to prominence for starring as Crystal Carrington in The CW soap opera, “Dynasty.” She has also appeared in several horror films, such as “Wrong Turn 2: Dead End” and “The Hills Have Eyes.”
Age, Early Life, and Education Background
Daniella was born in New York City, under the Virgo zodiac sign on 22 September 1978, which makes her 44 years old as of 2022. Alonso’s father is of Peruvian descent, and her mother is Puerto Rican. She was brought up in an extended family and has a sister and a brother. She developed an interest in performing and modeling at a young age, and Daniella was noticed by Ford Modeling Agency when she was 15 years old, selected to appear in their commercials, and later in many teen magazines, including “Teen” and “Seventeen.”
Alonso went to a local high school, and matriculated to Marymount Manhattan College, majoring in Communications, and graduating with a BA in 2002.

Alonso’s association with Ford Modelling agency, which is affiliated with many renowned brands such as Celine, Prada, and Fendi, saw her become very famous at a young age. She thereafter began appearing on the covers of several magazines, and later in commercials – in over 20 Spanish advertisements as a teenager. She also modeled for skincare and make-up firms such as Clean and Clear, Clairol, and Cover Girl.
Daniella made her film debut as Lisa in “American Boyz” in 1997, before she portrayed June in 2001’s “Black Knight.” In 2003, she was selected to play Rena in “Rhythm of the Saints,” then Rada Kincaid in the drama “All You’ve Got” in 2006, and Posie Santana in the horror film “Hood of Horror” in the same year. Daniella landed her first TV role as Angie Suarez in the episode “Jones” of the crime-drama “Law and Order: Criminal Intent” in 2001.
