The 2019 year brought her more success since she broke into US television, being in the regular cast as the High Priestess spirit of Death, Yaritza, in the critically acclaimed American neo-noir crime drama miniseries “Too Old To Die Young”, broadcast on Amazon Prime Video, then starring in the main role of Luz Ojeda in the second season of the American horror drama anthology series “The Terror”, aired on AMC. During the same year, she had the part of Suzu in the action thriller film “Miss Bala”, with Gina Rodriguez in the lead role and played Fabiana in the drama film “Perdida”.

In 2020, Cristina was chosen to star as Rosa Alvarez in the American military comedy-drama series “68 Whiskey”, along with Sam Keeley, Gage Golightly and Jeremy Tardy; the series premiered on the Paramount Network, but was canceled the same year after a single season. Most recently, she featured as the lead protagonist Ambar, in the 2021 British horror film “No One Gets Out Alive”, released on Netflix, and starring Marc Menchaca.
