The famous Tug McGraw and Tim’s mother Elizabeth Ann D’Agostino weren’t married. According to Tug, they only had sex once, and soon afterwards she left town, and he had no idea that she was pregnant because her parents sent her to their relatives in Delhi.

Tug finally accepted that he was Tim’s father when Tim was 18 years old, and the two later developed a close relationship. Tim has half-siblings Mark and Cari from his father’s first marriage, as well as another half-brother, Matthew, from Tug’s second marriage.

Through his mother’s marriage, Tim has two half-sisters, Sandra and Tracey, and when he was young, he believed that Horace Smith, his mother’s husband was his father. Tim found out the truth about his biological father after he discovered his birth certificate in his mother’s closet.
