Tracy Spiridakos was born under the zodiac sign of Pisces on 20 February 1988, in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada, however, soon after her birth, her parents, George and Anastasia, both Greek-born, moved to Tracy’s father’s hometown of Skala in Greece, but then in 1992 returned to Canada and opened a Greek restaurant.
Tracy holds both Canadian and Greek nationality, speaks Greek fluently, and strongly identifies with her Greek heritage.
Growing up, Tracy worked in the family restaurant, but dreamt of becoming a famous actress, and began by acting in school plays, then studied acting at the Actors Training Centre of Manitoba. She made her big-screen debut portraying Cami Winters in the 2010 movie “The Boy She Met Online”, also starring Jon Cor and Alexandra Paul, and she then had a supporting role in the science-fiction action drama “Rise of the Planet of the Apes”, which was nominated for the Oscar for Best Achievement in Visual Effects in 2011.
