Omer Fedi Wiki: Age, Childhood, and Education
Omer Fedi was born on 25 March 2000, in Tel Aviv, Israel, the son of famed Israeli drummer Asher Fedi, while there’s no information about his mother. He grew up in Israel, where his father took him under his wing and taught him how to play drums at an early age. As he got older, his musical interest diversified, and he began playing guitar when 10 years old.
After finishing elementary and middle school, Omer and his dad moved to the USA, settling in Los Angeles. There, Omer enrolled at Calabasas High School, and wanting to improve his music skills, he joined the high school jazz ensemble.
He caught the eye of many virtuoso guitar players in and out of the school circle, who encouraged him to pursue a music career.
He won the Outstanding Performer award at the Reno Jazz Festival in 2018 in front of 9,000 other musicians, and before the year ended, he was contacted by songwriter Sam Hook to work with him.
Omer accepted Sam’s invitation, and the two started working together. Omer said that before Hook contacted him, he’d never written a song. However, the two teamed up, and he started working on songs every day after school.
His first artist was Ella Mai, with whom he worked on her debut release, the song “Naked”, as a co-producer. He started working with Machine Gun Kelly, and the two recorded the album “Hotel Diablo”, on which Fedi contributed by playing guitar on various songs. His next client was Iann Dior, with whom he worked on the mixtape “Nothings Ever Good Enough” (2019) and the following debut studio album “Industry Plant”.
Fedi met 24kGoldn at a party, and the two began working within a week. This collaboration gave birth to the EP “Dropped Out of College”, and the eponymous single “City of Angels”, which went platinum in the USA, Canada, Britain and Australia as well.
Rise to Prominence
The following year Omer made his huge breakout. He collaborated with several celebrities, and a few of their songs became major hits, including with Trevor Daniel on his debut studio album “Nicotine”, and with Iann Dior on his EP “I’m Gone”.
Next, in March 2020, he started working with Machine Gun Kelly on his COVID-19 lockdown session. The two furthered their collaboration by recording Machine Gun Kelly’s fifth studio album, “Tickets to my Downfall” – Fedi played bass and guitar on several songs, including “Drunk Face”, “Forget Me Too”, “My Ex’s Best Friend” which achieved triple platinum status, and “Nothing Inside”.
The same year, Omer worked with Yungblud on the album “Weird!”, which spawned such hits as “Cotton Candy”, and “Acting Like That”, among others.
He started 2021 by playing guitar on Pink Sweat’s debut album “Pink Planet”, which spawned the hit single “At My Worst”, as it achieved platinum status in the USA. Then, he worked with 24kGoldn on the album “El Dorado”, playing guitar, bass and keyboards on almost every one of the 13 songs, including the eponymous “Mood”.
Next, he worked with rapper Lil Nas X on his debut studio album “Montero”, which landed at No. 2 on the US Billboard 200 chart, and achieved platinum status in the USA. The album spawned such hits as “Montero”, which topped multiple charts and achieved five times platinum status in the US, then “Industry Baby”, and “That’s What I Want”. Omer played guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, and even contributed vocals on several songs, including “Montero”, “Tales of Dominica”, and “Sun Goes Down”.
Most recently, Omer collaborated with Justin Bieber and Kid Larol on their single “Stay”, which topped several charts, including US Billboard Hot 100.

For a while, he successfully kept secret his romance with American social media star and actress Addison Rae, but eventually started sharing their pictures on social media, and thus removed any doubt of their romance. Before they revealed their affair, the couple often posted small clues on social media about their romance, such as Fedi’s statement that both he and his girlfriend are currently the best in what they do, a statement in regards to the album “Montero” on which Omer worked, and the film “He’s All That”, in which Addison starred, as both projects topped the charts. They finally revealed their romance in August 2021, though they’d already been together for a few months.
