Who is Jen Carfagno?
Jennifer ‘Jen’ Carfagno was born in Collegeville, Pennsylvania USA, on 19 July 1976 – her zodiac sign is Cancer, and she holds American nationality. She’s a meteorologist, and is perhaps known best for the work which she’s done for American pay TV The Weather Channel (TWC).
Early life and education
Jen was raised in Collegeville by her parents, about whom not a lot is known as she respects their privacy; it’s believed that her father was a businessman, and her mother a lawyer. Because she hasn’t spoken of having any siblings, most of her fans believe her to be an only child.
She grew up wanting to become a pilot, after learning from her parents that pilots travel all around the world. Jen studied at Perkiomen Valley High School, and was interested in many activities during her four years there, including appearing in school plays, playing soccer with her peers, and dancing.
Upon matriculating in 1994, she enrolled at Penn State University, from which she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in meteorology in 1998.
Career as a weather reporter
While still attending college, Jen completed an internship at The Weather Channel, and then joined the network as soon as she graduated.
From 1998 to 2015, she was an on-camera meteorologist, being in front of the camera every weekend, and from 2013 to 2016, Jen co-anchored “Weather Center Live” together with Alex Wallace, on Thursday to Friday. She and Alex are today co-hosting the morning TV show “American’s Morning Headquarters” (AMHQ).
As of August 2022, Jen’s been working at The Weather Channel for almost 25 years.

She launched her Twitter account in April 2009, and it’s today followed by close to a million people, while it numbers nearly 35,000 tweets, Jen mostly sharing various news with her fans, but also her thoughts on various matters.
She has a Facebook page as well, and it’s today followed by nearly 100,000 people, while she tends to update it at least once a week.

Love life and husband
Jen prefers to keep the details of her love life away from the media’s attention, while it’s still widely known that she’s today a married woman, as well as a mother of two. She loves the beach, which is why summer’s her favorite season; Jen mostly enjoys sun tanning and going yachting with her friends.
She’s a fashionista, and is trying to keep up with all of the latest fashion trends by reading popular fashion magazines, such as “Vogue” and “Marie Claire”; she’s also a shopaholic, as she goes shopping for clothes multiple times every week.
Jen likes to watch movies late at night – some of her favorite actors and actresses are Anne Hathaway, Natalie Portman and Hugh Jackman, while a couple of her favorite films are “Les Miserables”, “Leon: The Professional” and “The Greatest Showman”.
