Who is Hillary Wolf?

Hillary Wolf Saba was born in Chicago, Illinois USA, on 7 February 1977 – her zodiac sign is Aquarius, and she holds American nationality. She’s a martial artist and a former child actress, with 10 acting credits to her name, perhaps still known best for her portrayal of Megan in the 1990 family comedy movie “Home Alone”, directed by Chris Columbus, and which starred Macaulay Culkin, Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern. It follows an eight years old boy who’s been accidentally left home alone for Christmas, and who now has to fight off a pair of burglars; the movie won 11 of the 19 awards for which it was nominated, including an Oscar nomination for Best Music, Original Song.

Early life and education

Hillary was raised in Chicago alongside her brother Brett, by their father Malcolm and mother Marilyn; not a lot is known about Hillary’s family as she respects their privacy, while it’s said that her father was a defense attorney, and her mother an accountant.

Hillary became interested in acting at a very early age, and was six when her mother began taking her to auditions; she was seven when she made her debut TV series appearance, playing Lindy Lou Purdy in the 1984 episode “A Matter of Principle” of the romantic comedy drama “American Playhouse”. The series starred Jeffrey DeMunn, Elizabeth Franz and Edward Herrmann, aired from 1980 to 1994 and won 20 awards, including six Primetime Emmys, while it was nominated for 31 other awards.

Hillary acted until 1992, retiring a year after she had enrolled at Francis W. Parker High School in Chicago; she matriculated in 1995, and because she hasn’t spoken of her further education, it’s believed that she hasn’t attended college.

Career as an actress

Hillary played Missy in the 1985 biographical movie “First Steps”, directed by Sheldon Larry, and which starred Amy Steel, Judd Hirsch and Kim Darby. It tells the story of teenager Nan Davis, who’s been involved in a car accident which has left her paralyzed, while new research which uses external electric stimulations has helped her walk again.

Hillary played two characters in two episodes of the 1986 adventure family series “The Magical World of Disney”, and portrayed Angelica Cipriani in two episodes of the 1987 drama series “I’ll Take Manhattan”.

The year 1990 saw her play Emily in the comedy movie “Waiting for the Light”, written and directed by Christopher Monger, and which starred Shirley MacLaine, Teri Garr and Louis Guzzo. It follows a former magician who’s moved to a small town with her two children, and has created an illusion of ghosts for her neighbor because he’s accused her children of stealing from his garden.

Hillary’s also still known for her portrayal of Laura Chartoff in the popular 1991 movie “Big Girls Don’t Cry”, directed by Joan Micklin Silver, and which starred Griffin Dunne, Dan Futterman and Patricia Kalember. It follows a girl who’s run away from her dysfunctional family, making them spend more time with one another.

Hillary’s final role was in the 1992 adventure crime comedy movie “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York”, while she was also featured in the 2015 short documentary film “Home Alone: Deleted Scenes”.

Achievements as a martial artist

Hillary began taking judo classes aged seven, and was 14 when she became the youngest person in the US history to win a National Championship, and was 17 when she became Junior World Judo Champion.

In 1994, Hillary won the US Senior Nationals, as well as the US Olympic Festival, while she finished second at the US International Invitational. The following year saw her win a silver medal at US Senior Nationals, while she again won at the US Olympic Festival, and placed third at US International Invitational; also in 1995, Hillary won the Finnish Judo Open, and finished second at the Swedish Judo Open.

In 1996, she competed with the US Olympic Team.

Hillary today holds a second-degree black belt in judo, and has won six US Judo Federation (USJF) Junior National Championships, five Junior Olympic Championships and four Senior National Championships.

Love life and husband

Hillary prefers to keep the details of her love life to herself, but it’s still widely known that she’s today a married woman, as well as a mother. She exchanged vows with non-celebrity American Chris Saba sometime in the first half of the 2000s, but neither has spoken about how and when they met; it’s believed that Chris was once a successful wrestler, and that they were introduced by a mutual friend. They have five children together, but as Chris and Hillary prefer to keep them away from the media’s attention, their names and birthdates haven’t been disclosed.

Hillary hasn’t mentioned any other men whom she’s perhaps been with, and as of August 2022, she’s married to Chris Saba, and they have five children together.

Hobbies and other interests

Hillary’s still physically quite active, and has multiple training sessions at the gym every week, thus her slim figure; she’s also following a strict diet, and avoids eating fast food and sweets.

Travelling is one of her main hobbies; her career as a martial artist’s taken her to many US states and European countries, while her dream travel destination is Paris, France.

She’s a huge lover of animals, with dolphins and lions being her favorites.

Hillary’s a huge fan of animated movies, with some of her favorites being the trilogy “The Lion King”, also “Megamind” and “Despicable Me”. She also enjoys watching live-action films – her favorite actor and actress are Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet, while some of her favorite movies are “The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind”, “Inception” and “Shutter Island”.

Hillary’s favorite season is summer, mostly because she enjoys sun tanning at the beach and swimming in the ocean.

Hillary’s age is 45. She has long brown hair and brown eyes, her height is 5ft 2ins (1.55m) and she weighs around 110lbs (50kgs).

As of August 2022, Hillary’s net worth’s been estimated at over $1.5 million.
