Canadian actor Henry Czerny was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on 8 February 1959, making his zodiac sign Aquarius. Education and early life

Henry and his two siblings were raised in Toronto by their Polish-Canadian parents; their father John Czerny was a welder, while their mother Eugenia (nee Mendyk) worked at a local bakery.

Henry was mostly interested in sports while growing up, and began playing ice hockey at the age of nine; he also occasionally played soccer and basketball with his peers. He appeared in his first school play aged 17, but didn’t initially plan to pursue a career in the film industry.

Henry matriculated in 1977, and then enrolled at York University in Toronto, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in 1981, then worked several jobs in the following five years, prior to launching his acting career.

Henry’s debut TV series appearance was in the 1986 episode “One Way Ticket” of the family comedy “The Edison Twins”, and the remainder of the ‘80s saw him appear in single episodes of the crime drama “Night Heat”, the mystery fantasy horror “Friday the 13th: The Series” and the crime drama “T and T”.

It follows a lawyer as he’s defending a priest who killed a young girl while performing an exorcism, and the movie won four of its 13 award nominations. The 2000s also saw Henry appear in the 2006 adventure crime comedy “The Pink Panther”, and in 2009 the biographical romantic drama “Prayers for Bobby” and the family drama “Christmas Dream”.

He was cast to portray Charles Guttman in the 2015 mystery thriller drama “Remember”, directed by Atom Egoyan, and which starred Christopher Plummer, Kim Roberts and Amanda Smith. It follows an Auschwitz survivor who’s determined to find the man responsible for his family’s death, so that he could kill him; the film won six of its 30 award nominations.
