American actor and singer Froylan ‘Froy’ Gutierrez III was born in Highland Park, Texas USA, on 27 April 1998 under the zodiac sign of Taurus. Education and early life

Froy was raised in Dallas, Texas alongside his younger brother Henry, and younger sister whose name hasn’t been disclosed, by their mother Heather Lee and father Froylan Gutierrez II; Froy’s parents’ professions remain undisclosed, as he respects their privacy.

Froy became interested in acting while studying at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, and appeared in many school and theatre plays during his four years there. It was in 2015 that he was noticed by a talent agent, and then made his debut TV series appearance in the same year, playing Charlie in the episodes “Dudes & Chicks” and “Two Many Dates” of the popular family sports comedy “Bella and the Bulldogs”. Gabriel Garza and Jonathan Butler created the series which follows the life of Bella, a cheerleader who’s now become the quarterback of her school’s football team the Bulldogs; it aired in 2015 and 2016, and won four of its 10 award nominations.

Fry matriculated in 2016, and then continued acting, rather than pursuing a college degree.

Roles in TV series

Froy played Handsome Ben in the 2016 episodes “Double Dare” and “Magic Is Real” of the comedy “The Goldbergs”, and the year 2017 saw him portray Josh in four episodes of the popular comedy “One Day at a Time”, which Mike Royce and Gloria Calderon Kellett created, and which starred Isabella Gomez, Todd Grinnell and Justina Machado. It follows three generations of a Cuban-American family who are all living under the same roof; the series aired from 2017 to 2020, and won 14 of its 65 award nominations.

Froy portrayed Doug in the 2018 episode “Popular” of the comedy “Liza on Demand”, and then played Ridge Reyes in six episodes of the 2019 fantasy horror drama “Light as a Feather”. It starred Liana Liberato, Haley Ramm and Brianne Tju, and follows several teenage girls who’ve just finished playing “Light as a Feather, Stiff as a Board”, and have now begun dying in the same way as the game had predicted; the series was nominated for 10 awards.

In 2020, Froy appeared in the  episode “Twelfth Night” of the drama “Acting for a Cause”, and portrayed Brad Carnegie in four episodes of the  short thriller mini-series “Wireless”.

He’s appeared in only one other series: in 2021, Froy starred as Jamie Henson in 10 episodes of the mystery thriller drama “Cruel Summer”, created by Bert V. Royal, and which also starred Chiara Aurelia and Olivia Holt. It follows the abduction of Kate, who was the most popular girl in a small town in Texas, and Jeanette who became the most popular girl following Kate’s abduction; the series won two of its eight award nominations.

Roles in movies

Froy’s debut film role was his portrayal of Jason Carver in the 2017 family drama “”A Cowgirl’s Story”, written and directed by Timothy Armstrong, and which starred Bailee Madison, Chloe Lukasiak and Pat Boone. It follows the lives of Dusty Rhodes and her grandfather now that Dusty’s parents have gone to fight in the Afghanistan War.

Froy went on to star in both the 2017 short comedy “The Halloween Party”, and the 2019 short musical “Brent Rivera-Bad Fajitas (Señorita Parody) With MyLifeAsEva”, and in 2020, he portrayed Wes Scott, one of the main characters in the mystery crime horror “Initiation”, which John Berardo wrote and directed, and which also starred Lindsay LaVanchy and Isabella Gomez. It follows the murder of a Whiton University’s athlete and the subsequent discovery of the university’s darkest secrets – the movie was nominated for a Sitges – Catalonian International Film Festival Award for Best Motion Picture.

Froy’s appeared in only one other movie: he played Mike in the 2022 family fantasy comedy “Hocus Pocus 2”, directed by Anne Fletcher, and which starred Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy. It follows the Sanderson Sisters who’ve mistakenly been summoned to modern day Salem, and the movie won a Queerty Award for Next Big Thing.

Froy’s currently shooting for the upcoming horror “The Strangers”, set to be released in 2023.

Froy made a guest appearance in the 2019 episode “Guess The Word and I’ll Buy It (Challenge)” of the talk-show “Brent Rivera”.

Love life and sexual orientation

Most of Froy’s fans believe that he’s gay, and the rumors were fueled by his narration of the 2018 audiobook of the LGBT romantic comedy novel “What If It’s Us”, as well as its sequel “Here’s To Us”, which was released in 2022.

Many of his fans have pointed out the fact that Froy hasn’t spoken of the girls whom he might have dated, and that he hasn’t been seen spending time in public with any. However, he’s been seen with Scottish actor Richard Madden on multiple occasions, and a lot of people on the internet believe that the two men are dating; Richard’s believed to be bisexual, and is probably best known for his portrayal of Robb Stark in the critically acclaimed series “Game of Thrones”.

Froy loves to sing, and he launched his music career in 2019, with the release of his debut single “Fix Me”; it seems that he’s put his career in the music industry aside, so that he could focus on acting.

Froy spends quite a lot of time at the gym, and has shown off his muscles in some of his Instagram pictures.
