Who is Brianna’s husband Mookie?
Markus Lynn ‘Mookie’ Betts was born in Smyrna, Tennessee, on 7 October 1992, meaning that his zodiac sign’s Libra. He’s currently playing for the Major League Baseball’s (MLB) Los Angeles Dodgers, but is perhaps best known for the time that he spent playing for the Boston Red Sox- while playing for the Red Sox in 2018, Mookie became the first baseball player in MLB history to win the World Series, batting title, Gold Globe, Silver Slugger and the Most Valuable Player (MVP) Award in a single season.
Mookie began playing baseball and basketball while attending John Overton High School, and in November 2010 signed a letter of commitment, promising to enroll at University of Tennessee on a baseball scholarship upon matriculating; he had also been offered scholarships by the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Mississippi State University, and Vanderbilt University.
Mookie was allowed to quit college in 2011, and though he’d signed a letter of commitment, he actually signed with the Boston Red Sox following the 2011 MLB draft; he only gained recognition in 2013, when named to the South Atlantic League All-Star Game.
