In 2017, she was seen as Canela in an episode of the series “Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders”, before she was cast to play her most notable role to date, as Maria Salazar in “Narcos”, also starring Pedro Pascal, Boyd Holbrook and Wagner Moura. The series follows the story, a chronicled look, at the criminal exploits of Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar and many other kingpins, and it had 20 award nominations, including three Primetime Emmys, and won eight.

In the same year came Andrea’s next movie role, as she was seen as Young Carmen in the biographic romantic drama “Ice Cream in the Cupboard”, based on the novel of the same title by Pat Moffett, while in 2020, she was cast as Maria De La Puerta in the series “Tommy”, also starring Adelaide Clemens, Edie Falco and Michael Chernus.
Andrea was cast to play Maggie – her first lead movie role – in the 2020 movie “Dreaming Grand Avenue”, a drama about two strangers who discover the truth behind their linked destiny after appearing in each other’s dream.
